Earls Court is famous for its world-class Exhibition Centre and every year thousands of people visit the centre. The Earls Court district is split between East and West along Earls Court Road with the Exhibition Centre in the West.

The original Earls Court Exhibition Hall was completed in 1937 to rival the already established Olympia Exhibition Hall to the North. Since the first exhibition was held in the hall in 1937 Earls Court has become established as one of London's premier exhibition and conference spaces.

Olympia opened in the 19th century and was originally known as the National Agricultural Hall. It now features three exhibition halls known as Olympia Grand Hall, Olympia National Hall and Olympia 2.

As well as being host to music events by world famous artists, the venues have been home to events such as:

• the London Boat Show
• the British Motor Show
• the Ideal Home Show
• the London Book Fair
• the Great British Beer Festival
• the Good Food Show.

Earls Court has also been selected to be a London 2012 Olympic venue for the Olympic Games, for its west London location and excellent transport links.
